Kajak.mk Receives a National Award as Macedonia’s Most Successful Online Tourism Platform
Kajak.mk has received a national award as Macedonia’s most
successful online tourism platform for 2026. The recognition was presented by
the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the occasion of World Tourism Day,
acknowledging Kajak.mk’s contribution to the development and digital promotion
of Macedonia as an authentic and attractive travel destination.

For us, this recognition means far more than an award. It
represents years of dedicated work, thousands of kilometres travelled across
Macedonia, and countless local stories discovered along the way. From day one,
our mission has never been simply to build a tourism platform, but to create a
space that brings tourism directly to local people – accommodation providers,
hosts, small family businesses, artisans, tour guides, local producers, and
everyone whose story deserves to be heard.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all institutions, members of the academic and expert community, as well as the tourism professionals from NAITM, who recognized our determination to pursue our dream – to create a new era of tourism in Macedonia.

We invite all accommodation providers, tour guides, organizers of authentic travel experiences, and travel agencies offering tourism packages who are interested in becoming part of the Kajak.mk community to get in touch with us at: kajak.mk/kontakt
