Weekend Suggestion: Fish Restaurant “Planinska Kukja”

Weekend Suggestion: Fish Restaurant “Planinska Kukja”

Here comes another weekend! For those wondering where to take a break, the Kajak.mk team is sharing another great gastronomic destination. We’re adding the fish restaurant “Planinska Kuќa” to our database. It’s located in the village of Bistrica, nestled at the foot of Pelister Mountain, not far from Bitola, along the Bistrica River.

The hosts of the house say that the specialties here are fresh California trout served with veal and red meat.

The restaurant features an extensive wine list with various varietals from many local wineries, and wine and fish make a perfect combination. It has a beautiful summer terrace offering an exceptional view, while the interior is cozy and warm for the cold winter days.

Host Mile says that the house specialty is definitely the golden trout, but for those who are not fans of fish, the menu also includes grilled meat. The restaurant is open every day from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and has been operating since 2014.

The summer season is a very attractive destination. The fishpond is visited by foreign tourists who come for fresh, delicious fish.

Those who want to experience this gastronomic delight can make a reservation at 077 840 544, 078 426 969, or 078 226 205.

The fish restaurant "Planinska Kuќa" is now part of our "Gastronomy" database, which you can check out HERE.
