History and Wine: For a Great Start to October Team-Building Trips

History and Wine: For a Great Start to October Team-Building Trips

We started October with a team-building event at two well-known destinations. The company Singular, with whom we had the opportunity to spend time on the third day of October, organized a unique tour of the Tikveš region for their colleagues from Georgia. Our day began with a visit to the archaeological site "Stobi," a piece of land that, as a messenger, fills us with pride for what we can now showcase to foreign tourists.

For the team at Kajak.mk, the Stobi site is a destination that every Macedonian must visit. Regardless of whether you have ever been taken there as part of a group, our advice is to visit it individually so you can enjoy the silence and feel the energy of this historical location. Stobi has its own local guides who can tell you the history, introduce you to the past, and inspire you to reflect on how people lived in this region.

The second destination we visited was the "Tikveš" winery, which we always say is one of the ambassadors of Macedonia abroad. As for the small family wineries, we add that they are the new soul of Macedonian wine.

The corridors of Tikveš smell of experience from the distant year 1885. Today, at the winery, you can take a short tour, learn about its past, discover the wine production process, and see what Tikveš aspires to in the future.

The winery includes a wine cellar, where we, together with the group, had the opportunity to taste five different wines, paired with a variety of foods. The instructions for pairing the wine with food are always welcome.

The company "Singular," through its social trip, supported the local artisans "Zingiber," and also donated 200 trees for reforestation.
