Promoting Mountain Tourism: Reaching Every Young Adventurer
Promoting Mountain Tourism: Reaching Every Young Adventurer
While the cold outside cuts through, some tourists use their break to walk through Macedonia, while others wait for the borders to reopen. The team at kajak.mk introduces you to a group of four guys who tirelessly moved within the 'closed nature' during the pandemic. They are known for their Instagram profile @timelessviews.mk.
The guys say that the idea to start such a project came from searching for "views worth living for." After they began traveling through Macedonia, they decided to create a profile called Timeless Views.
A profile through which they aim to motivate all young people to step outside and be more active.
They create motivation in a very simple way. They climb to the top of the mountain and take photos showing "the whole world." Added motivation comes from the freedom, fresh air, photography, and great camaraderie.
For them, the main motivation is the untouched and, unfortunately, unshown beauty that surrounds us in this wonderful country. They travel because they want to showcase some of the beautiful places in Macedonia and encourage others to enjoy them as they do.
Through photography, they promote hiking tourism, and they will continue creating "hiking" creative videos. In the future, they hope to expand their team and form a collective of adventurers, photographers, and filmmakers.
When we asked them about their favorite places in Macedonia, here are their answers:
ĐOĐO: Solunska Glava
ĐOLE: Galicica National Park
ALEKS: Ljuboten, Shar Mountain
BORIS: Pelister, Baba Mountain
These are the top 3 post-COVID locations in Macedonia:
- Titov Vrv
- Lešnica
- Golem Korab
Here are the destinations outside of Macedonia they recommend for your travelers:
- Pirin National Park
- Yosemite National Park
- Pico de Arieiro - Madeira, Portugal
