Perfect Weekend Escape for Fishing and Fresh, Delicious Fish

Perfect Weekend Escape for Fishing and Fresh, Delicious Fish

Since the launch of the Kajak.mk platform, we have received many comments from professional fishermen who often use our site to discover new fishing spots and locations across the country where they can enjoy their hobby.

Fishermen are among our regular readers and travelers, so today we decided to introduce them to another unique lake in Macedonia and a one-of-a-kind restaurant that should definitely be on their weekend travel list.

The Kajak.mk team spoke with Lidija, the hostess of the fish restaurant Gogo-Mond, located right on the shore of a small lake abundant with carp, pike, catfish, chub, and rudd.

The fish restaurant is located near Rankovce. To get there, take the road from Kumanovo towards Kriva Palanka. Four kilometers after the Kratovo junction, continue on a paved road for another 300 meters, and you will arrive at the restaurant.

The restaurant has been in operation for 20 years, starting with the lake that is now part of the property and used for fishing, as it is rich in various fish species. The beautiful and vibrant nature surrounding the area gives the place its authentic charm. The food is cooked using traditional methods.

If you visit the fish restaurant, the Kajak.mk team recommends trying whitefish (prak), kremendli, and red trout, all prepared in the traditional way.
