Organic Wines: Grown Without Pesticides or Artificial Fertilizers

At Kajak.mk, we say: If you haven’t tried the “Temjanika” wine from Peškov, you don’t know the true aroma and taste of Temjanika!

Today, we’re happy to announce that Peškov Winery is officially part of the Kajak.mk shop, and the wine is available for order at any time with just one click HERE.

For those encountering the Peškov family winery for the first time, here’s something you’ll find interesting. This winery is located in Kavadarci and has a capacity of 10,000 liters annually, producing wine and brandy exclusively from its own grapes.

The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 450 meters in the village of Resava, covering an area of around 3 hectares. They are not irrigated and have a reduced grape yield. The vineyards are cultivated organically, meaning no artificial fertilizers or pesticides are used.

Today, the winery nurtures local grape varieties such as Temjanika, Vranec, and Smederevka. Wine production and vineyard cultivation are certified by Pro Cert.

For the production of the "Temjanika" wine, the Peškov family harvests the grapes in the early morning hours when the temperature is lower, to preserve the primary aromas of the grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 3 months on its own lees. Alc. 14%.

As for Vranec, the wine is made from Vranec grapes with a reduced yield of 600 kilograms per hectare and sugar units of 26 Brix. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, and it is unfiltered and not clarified. Alc. 15.5%.

As for the brandy, it is made from Vranec grape variety with controlled heating of the must. No sugar is added.

Today, all you need to do is order wine from Peškov Winery, because as a team working on promoting small businesses and producers, we guarantee you won’t go wrong. Click HERE to place your order.
