Discover the Perfect Forest Lodge for Your Upcoming Getaways
Discover the Perfect Forest Lodge for Your Upcoming Getaways
The scout lodge "Čičko Boro" is the perfect place to stay during rainy days, surrounded by dense forests and lush greenery. Imagine sipping your coffee while listening to the soothing sound of the rain.
Located 35
kilometers from the center of Skopje, the lodge sits on Mount Kitka at an
altitude of 950 meters above sea level. The area is rich in natural beauty,
featuring many hiking and mountain biking trails along Mala Reka, which is a
tributary of the Kadina River.
If you're
wondering how to get to the lodge, here are the directions: Start by driving
through the villages of Dolno and Gorno Količani. The road is paved until
Crvena Voda, but be cautious as the asphalt is damaged in some areas. From
Preslap to Mala Reka, there is a 9 km stretch of unpaved dirt road that
requires careful driving. While you can use a regular city car, we recommend
using a high-clearance or off-road vehicle for a safer journey. With slow and
careful driving, you can reach the lodge in approximately 1 hour and 30
minutes.
If you require organized transportation, you can contact the facility's hosts to arrange it for you.
The home is
maintained by volunteers from the First Skopje Scouting Unit and the Mala Reka
Leisure and Recreation Association. They are currently seeking donations for
the reconstruction of the home.
