Experience Authentic Village Life: Stay in a Cozy Home in Orovnik Near Lake Ohrid
About 7 kilometers from Ohrid and Struga, and very close to Ohrid Airport, lies the village of Orovnik. This village, known for its developed agriculture, also offers accommodation for those seeking authentic rural homes with large yards.
Orovnik has a fascinating history and story, which can be shared with you by our new host, Toni Stefanoski, whose home is now part of the Kajak.mk accommodation base.
Toni says that the main attraction his accommodation offers is the huge yard with a fruit garden, next to which there are tables and a grill available for guests to use. Toni adds that his garden is open to all guests, who are welcome to pick fruits and prepare various specialties and salads.
The house is located in a very peaceful area, with walking and cycling trails nearby. This village is recommended as a travel destination for people living in densely populated cities who rarely get the chance to enjoy rural village life.
Toni says that the village of Orovnik has a great location, being close to Lake Ohrid, with the towns of Ohrid and Struga just 7 kilometers away.
