Experience the Adventure of Riding Donkeys at Leonov Dvor

Macedonia is home to numerous unique rural destinations that many young people may not yet know about. Kayak.mk, a growing platform in the country, aims to showcase the beauty of Macedonia to new generations, encouraging them to explore their homeland as tourists.

We often say: you can spend your summer vacation abroad wherever you prefer, but make sure to dedicate your weekends and days off to exploring Macedonia. Our motto for 2023 is: "Be a tourist in the shoes of the locals." With that in mind, let's explore some weekend activities:

Our latest recommendation for a unique and memorable trip is "Leonov Dvor," a gastro destination located in the village of Kuratica. It is the perfect spot for family outings, team-building events, and leisurely stays.

Kuratica is a village situated 20 kilometers northeast of Ohrid and just 5 kilometers from the Ohrid-Resen road. This village boasts stunning landscapes, and the locals take great pride in the Mazatar mountain range, which offers views of both Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa simultaneously. Nestled at an elevation of 1,080 meters above sea level, Kuratica has successfully preserved its authentic traditions over the years and continues to cherish and enjoy the beauty of nature.

In the heart of the village, you'll find Leonov Dvor, a wonderful gastronomic destination that provides a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Here, you can savor traditional dishes or take a leisurely walk with donkeys.

Leonov Dvor has the capacity to host up to 50 guests. You can enjoy specialties such as đomleze, komat, pitulici, as well as kachamak and bakrdanit.
