Escape to One of the Most Stunning Pool Villas on Lake Tikveš – Book Now via Kajak.mk

Hey team! The Kajak.mk crew is excited to introduce yet another unique villa with a pool, now part of our growing collection. Meet Villa Princess Tikvesh Lake – a luxurious retreat offering an endless view over the stunning Tikveš Lake.

With scorching summer months ahead, we're doing our best to keep you cool with top-notch escapes from the urban concrete.

The villa is surrounded by lush vineyards and stands out as one of the finest private accommodations you can find in this region.

You’re probably wondering – what is there to do in the area?

The Tikveš Lake region is rich in history, home to numerous archaeological sites, ancient settlements, monasteries, and monuments. From the Roman period, several remains have been discovered, such as the Roman cemeteries near the village of Klinovo and the settlement of Crkviste.

From the medieval era, notable sites include the Tikveš settlement, the cave church of St. Lazar near the mouth of the Kamenica River into Lake Tikveš, the Poloski Monastery of St. George, and the cave church of St. Mark near the village of Dradnja, among others.

Near the village of Kumanichevo lies the site known as Mominska Rock, tied to a poignant local legend. According to the story, three girls from the village of Galište, in an effort to preserve their honor, leapt from the rock. To ensure none of them changed their mind, they braided their hair together into a single plait before the jump.

Close to the village of Moklište, you'll also find a 16th-century monastery dedicated to St. Nicholas, offering yet another historical gem to explore in the area.

Just above the lake lies the Poloski Monastery and the Church of St. George, dating back to the 14th century and richly adorned with frescoes. Some believe the church may actually originate from the end of the 9th century, as its architectural style closely resembles that of the early churches in Ohrid. (Source: Wikipedia)

The hosts say the pool is available throughout the summer season while the sun is at its peak, and that autumn offers a uniquely peaceful atmosphere for relaxing in the garden and at the bar. The villa is air-conditioned and comes with free parking and Wi-Fi.

It’s ideal for a family getaway, featuring three spacious bedrooms, a cozy living room, TV, kitchen, and bathroom.
