Bozovce: A New Gastro Destination
Bozovce: A New Gastro Destination
Today we want to introduce you to a quite unique gastro destination that you can now find in the Kajak.mk database, where the owners will offer you a different kind of experience during your tasting of local food.
Shahin Fazlija is the new gastronomic offer located in the peaks of Šar Mountain. Every week in the village of Bozovce, traditional dishes are prepared in abundance, including flija with cheese (a local layered pie baked under a metal lid called sač), urda cheese with peppers, and sour milk. All of this is served on a new wooden platform that offers a breathtaking view.
This gastro destination is ideal for travelers who love active tourism and visit the waterfalls of Leshnica or the surrounding mountain areas.
For those who haven’t heard of the village of Bozovce yet, you should know that just 2 kilometers from the village are the famous Šar Planina lakes — Golem, Mal, and Crn Gjol — which make for a perfect weekend getaway. To reach the village, take the road leading to the Popova Šapka ski center, then turn right toward the villages of Šipkovica and Vešala. Bozovce is the last village on the route, and the nature surrounding it will justify your journey.
