Ponikva on Osogovo Gets New Concessionaire: Boosting Winter Tourism in Macedonia

The Ponikva Ski Center, located in the Osogovo Mountains, has a new concessionaire who will manage the center for the next 10 years. The new concessionaire, Ski Nadja DOOEL, is committed to professional management, maintenance, and promotion of the ski center, aiming to increase visitor numbers and provide a high-quality experience for all skiers and guests.

Ponikva features two main ski slopes and two ski lifts – the green and red slopes – suitable for skiers of different skill levels. The center also hosts the iconic "Osogovo Giant Slalom," held when snow conditions allow, attracting a large number of participants and visitors from Macedonia and the surrounding region.

With the new concessionaire, further improvements to the infrastructure are expected, along with the introduction of new activities and services for winter tourism. This represents a significant boost for winter tourism in eastern Macedonia and offers opportunities for the development of the local economy through tourism.

Ponikva is an excellent destination for active vacations and family-friendly winter activities, and the new concessionaire opens up new opportunities for everyone who wants to experience the beauty of the Osogovo Mountains.
