Introducing New Picnic Shelters for the Summer Season
Introducing New Picnic Shelters for the Summer Season
To avoid sounding like we're complaining about the end of winter and the snow melting, we've decided to share the story of "Staro Balicho" – the famous hideaway located at the Mavrovo Ski Center, with you weekly.
This place operates all year round. For Daniel, the person who spoke with the Kajak.mk team, Staro Balicho is a place that, if you visit it in summer, will make you wish for winter to come so you can enjoy skiing, while if you visit it in winter, you'll want summer to arrive so you can enjoy riding electric bikes.
It might sound confusing, but "Staro Bachilo" knows how to make the most of every moment of the year and offer something in line with the season.
"Staro Bachilo" is run by a relatively young team that has been at Mavrovo for almost three years in a row.
Until this winter, we were running the well-known pizzeria "Ski School," and our love for the mountains encouraged us to stay through the summer, starting this new story with the famous hospitality of the bachilo, says Daniel.
The team at Kajak.mk hopes that this example of picnic hideaways will be followed by many other mountain excursion spots, contributing to the development of active tourism in Macedonia.
You can follow "Staro Bačilo" on Instagram at @starobachilo.
