Have You Heard of Grečki Rid in Macedonia?

Have You Heard of Grečki Rid in Macedonia?

Grečki Rid is a unique gastro destination that Kajak.mk adds to its database. You can visit it year-round, but keep in mind that during the winter, spring, and summer, you need to make a reservation at least 2 weeks prior to your visit. Grečki Rid is ideal for team-building trips or family visits. We say this because the venue does not operate continuously (except in July and August), but it can guarantee excellent privacy during the summer, autumn, and winter months. Reservation is mandatory; you can find the contact number with just one click HERE.

Grečki Rid is a local destination for enjoyment and relaxation, offering traditional local specialties commonly used by the residents of the village of Zirovnica.

Located 19 kilometers from Lake Mavrovo, along the Radika River, on the right side of the road leading to Debar, you'll come across a beautiful wooden cabin with an open gazebo, with a sign that says "Welcome to the village of Zirovnica."

The hosts of Grečki Rid say they are available for visits throughout the year, but guests should know that a reservation is mandatory. They are especially active during the summer season when the surroundings are green, and people are looking for locations where they can relax during the summer period.

The village of Zirovnica, whose name translates to "Village with many mills," is home to a large number of mills and watermills that the locals have built along the Valašičar and Tairoska rivers.

The gastro destination is located at an altitude of 912 meters, at the foot of the Deshat and Korab mountains. You can combine your visit to Grečki Rid with a stay in the unique mountain lodge located at the cattle farm, which you can view and book HERE.
