Today, we’re taking you right to the source — the Vevčani Springs — where, beneath deep and lush shade, you’ll find the tavern “Vo Izvor” (At the Spring).

On one side, the gentle murmur of the river; on the other, vibrant greenery. The location is exceptional, say all who have visited the tavern. And when it comes to the specialties, the Kajak.mk team recommends trying the river trout — which you can catch yourself! The tavern is also known for its homemade sausages, the signature Vevčani tava, and smoked meat that’s sure to catch your eye and whet your appetite.

The restaurant is located right at the spring’s source. Its interior combines traditional charm with modern design. During the winter months, it offers seating for up to 80 guests, while in the summer, it can accommodate up to 120.
