Continuing the Story of Our Father: The Man Who Built a Beautiful World of Classic Cars

Continuing the Story of Our Father: The Man Who Built a Beautiful World of Classic Cars

The first thing we need to keep in mind in 2023 is to provide huge support to the locals in Macedonia who are putting in their maximum effort to develop the beautiful story!

The motto of Kajak.mk for the new year is: 'Let’s be tourists in the shoes of the locals!' The new motto aims to make us realize that it’s time to start valuing those people who remain in our country.

To have successful stories in Macedonia, we shouldn’t just write 'BRAVO' in social media comments, but we should take action on the ground. Whether the action is ecological, social, or for supporting the local population, it’s our responsibility to reduce our daily use of social media, step outside, and face the reality that is slowly consuming our society every day!

Today we are here to share the story of Dimitr and Kiril, who, for us, are new local heroes. Despite all they have been through, they have decided to follow the path of their father, Dionis, a man who dedicated his life to building a world full of challenges – the world of classic cars.

Today, the city of Negotino has a new tourist attraction, the so-called 'Classic Car Museum.' The museum is built by Dionis Pashlakov, and the story is continued by his two sons.

Dionis manages to collect 120 classic cars, 70 motorcycles, a sailboat, and a delta plane, some of which he has housed in an enclosed space to protect them from erosion and moisture.

In his museum, you can find many unique vehicles, each with its own story. The oldest classic car dates back to 1950, but there are also many from the 60s and 70s. In the museum, you can see the car of the former president Lazar Kolisevski, and here you’ll also find the 'Austin 1800' vehicle, which was donated by the British Ambassador.

There is much more to be told about the museum, but we wouldn't want to do that for you, as the information will be experienced much better if you visit the location yourself.

The museum is perfect for team-building trips, group visits, and visits from primary and secondary schools. As mentioned in the title, entrance is free, and it’s up to you to donate funds into the donation box, which serves as a great support for these young individuals.

Share the story, because sharing is caring!
