Try Scuba Diving

Try Scuba Diving is a program designed for beginners and offers a quick and easy introduction to the basics of scuba diving. The experience lasts approximately 15 minutes and takes place at a depth of 5 to 8 meters near the Bay of Bones Museum – Gradishte, Ohrid.

Throughout the activity, participants are constantly accompanied by professional instructors who ensure their comfort and safety. The diving adventure also includes underwater photos and video materials, which participants receive as a memory of the experience, together with a diving diploma/certificate from Amfora.

After successfully completing the activity, each participant receives a Try Scuba diploma.

Archaeological Try Diving

Archaeological Try Diving is a beginner-friendly program that allows participants to discover the basics of scuba diving in an easy and exciting way while exploring the underwater archaeological site near the Bay of Bones Museum.

The location is rich with fascinating prehistoric artifacts, including flint knives, ceramic remains, fishing tools, and stone axes dating back approximately 6,000 years.

Participants are constantly accompanied by professional instructors who take care of their comfort and safety. The adventure also includes underwater photos and video materials, and upon completion, every participant receives a diving diploma/certificate from Amfora.

Terms & Conditions

Reservations

• Reservations must be made at least one day before the activity in order to organize the schedule properly. In certain cases, same-day reservations may be accepted, but priority is always given to previously confirmed bookings.
• Amfora reserves the right to change the activity schedule if necessary due to weather conditions or in the best interest of the clients. Participants will be informed of any changes as soon as possible.

Reservation Changes

• If plans change, activities can be rescheduled free of charge as long as notice is given at least one day in advance, depending on weather conditions and availability.

Cancellation / No-show / Late Arrival / Tour Interruption

• In case of cancellation on the day of the activity or failure to attend the tour, the deposit is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.
• The tour officially begins from the moment the preparation with the client starts. If the client decides to stop the activity before it is completed, the payment remains non-refundable.
• In case of late arrival, the maximum tolerated delay is 15 minutes. If the tour has already started, we will try to reschedule the appointment, but the deposit remains non-refundable and non-transferable.

Participation Requirements

• Minimum age for participation is 10 years
• Alcohol consumption before diving is not recommended
• Participants should be in good physical and mental condition
• It is recommended to avoid elevations above 2500 meters and air travel for 18–24 hours after diving
• If the participant has a history of chronic illness or has undergone major surgery involving a vital organ, prior consultation with a representative of the diving center is required
